76 Gas Half Off Deal

Were any of you hoping to get the 2 for 1 Tuesday half off deal for 76 Gas?  I hope not!

It sold out before it even was supposed to go on sale.  The sale was set for 8:08 am, but due to a daylight saving time "glitch" (I like to call it a MAJOR screwup), it actually went on sale at 7:08.  Was sold out right when I got online at 7:45.  My co-worker was lucky enough to score this deal (maybe he doesn't actually work hehe).

Safeway Gerber Catalina Coupon

Once again, I would like to say, Safeway is not my favorite store, but if a good deal arises, I will go.  Went today because I had a $1.50/2 Catalina for Gerber Graduates snack.  They're on sale this week for 2/$5, but when I paid, the coupon only took off .30!  She scanned it again, and again the $1.50 coupon came up .30 again!  Shocked!!!  The cashier adjusted it, but after my transaction, the Catalina spit this out:

It includes all crunchies, puffs, meals, pasta pick-ups, breakfasts, etc.  This offer is only good through 9/28, so print out those coupons and head over!

I rarely go to Safeway because of a pricing/customer service snafu that happened a long time ago.  I don't like to rule out shopping anywhere though, especially with free deals like this!  Every one in awhile, Safeway surprises card members with a freebie if they catch it.  You have to load it on your card, so check safeway.com every now and then and you could get something free!

Last month and the month before, I got a dozen Lucerne large eggs.

Lots of stuff on clearance at Walmart!  I spied this great stapler set for only $2!  Comes with a stapler, staple remover tool, and letter opener.  Down that same aisle, there's some clearance toys also.  Most everything was 75% off!

Target must be doing a clean house this week, because down every aisle there's some clearance stuff.  I found this great deal on a Logitech computer mouse:

It was only 11.88!  Perfect for carrying around with my laptop.  All the back to school supplies are still 50-75% off, but hurry down before they're all gone.  Lots of temporary price cuts also, look for the yellow signs!

Longs Revlon 40% off

Longs has all Revlon for 40% off in this week's value book.  Include the $1/1 Revlon tool coupon and you can get the 12 pack of emery boards for only .07!  I have a bunch of these tool coupons, so I also got a nail clipper for .78!  I'm going to check other locations and see if they have some better deals!

On another note - CVS does state that coupons can be adjusted down so that there is no overage, as they don't do overages on coupons.  I have yet to find a cashier who knows about this or knows how to do it.  I'm not going to stand there with the coupon policy during value book week, so just find the item closest to a dollar, and buy up!!

I was at School St. Walgreens today when I spotted this deal for Nexcare bandages.  Buy 3/3.99 each, get a manufacturer's mail in rebate for up to 11.97.  These bandages were also on sale B1G1 50% off, but if you look at your Walgreens receipt, they don't take the half off until the end (-2.00).  You must buy each of the three types of bandages to get the deal - waterproof, soft 'n flex, and active.  If you have the .55/1 Nexcare coupon, use that too!

When you send in your rebate form, remember to also send in the UPC and the receipt - circle the 3.99 prices, and you should be good to go!

Target has some great deals on school supplies this week - most paper and writing utensils are 50% off.  What really caught my eye were these cute kids backpacks.  They're on sale on target.com for 15% off, but if you hurry, they're on clearance at Target Salt Lake for 75% off!!!  I got this cute backpack for my little girl for only 4.74!

They also have lunch bags and coolers on sale.  Hurry down!

Keeaumoku Walgreens Dawn Plus Olay .24!

Walgreens has a great deal on Dawn dish soap this week at .99, no coupon necessary.  Making it even better, there is a .50/1 coupon for the regular soap (various smells) to bring the price down to .49.  I was taking advantage of this deal when I noticed that there were 9 oz bottles of Dawn Plus Olay  mixed in with the sale stuff.  Price checked, and it too is scanning at .99!  Sweet, since there was a coupon a couple weeks ago for .75/1!!
